Help Me!

If you're stuck and don't know what to do, come to the library!

Whenever the library is open, there's always someone sitting at the main desk that can help you with your research assignments. We're also available for one-on-one appointments or to help you through email at library@greensboro.edu. You can also chat live online with a librarian by clicking on the icon in the lower-right corner of the library's homepage. Any time the library is open, there is a librarian monitoring the chat. For subject specific help, check out our subject guides.

Library Anxiety?

Using library resources and doing research can often be intimidating and anxiety-producing for students. It's frustrating to not know where to go, where to look, or what to do. Some students worry about looking uninformed or asking a "bad" question.

We were all students once! Your library and your librarians are here to help. The whole reason we're here is to help you!  We want to encourage you to ask us anything, even if you think you "should know" already. If you're stuck, or having problems with a research assignment, that's why we're here.

If you're stressed about research, ask us! Library and research anxiety is a very real thing that a lot of students experience and we want to help.
